Our Client, a prestigious Oil and Gas Operating Company whom are fully integrated in all sectors of the energy business around the world are currently seeking a Completion Engineer for a short term contract in the UK. The role and its responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:- A proven track record in the field of Completion Engineering is a prerequisite by the Client. Candidates must have experience of subsea completions activities and preferably having worked on high profile campaigns directly for Oil and Gas Operating companies. Extensive recent exposure of the North Sea would be highly advantageous when considering this vacancy. The role will involve working to provide subsea completion engineering and workover solutions to the Client. This is a hybrid role which will predominantly be onshore, but offshore supervision work to execute the relevant programmes shall be required at the request of the Client. Candidates with experience of MODU's are invited to apply. Knowledge and experience in well planning, tubing stress analysis, upper & lower completions, sand control, DST (drill stem test) and stimulation would be highly advantageous. Experience of WellCat would be preferred. The Client is looking for applications from Degree Qualified Engineers and proof of this must be provided on request. Contract start date is approximately May 2018 - November 2018. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and must communicate fluently in both written and verbal in English. All industry competency must be provided at the time of application including IWCF Level 4 Well Intervention, BOSIET, CA-EBS and current MEDICAL as a minimum requirement.
