We are looking to recruit a highly-experienced HYDROGEOLOGIST with extensive experience in hydrogeology studies and well construction on a permanent STAFF basis in the Middle East. A key oil and gas exploration company based in the middle east, the client is a fully integrated, global petroleum and chemicals enterprise. Over the past 80 years the client has become a world leader in hydrocarbons exploration, production, refining, distribution and marketing. Their oil and gas production infrastructure leads the industry in scale of production, operational reliability, and technical advances. Their plants and the people who run them make us the world’s largest crude oil exporter, producing roughly one in every eight barrels of the world’s oil supply. To deal with this their continued vision to become the world’s leading integrated energy companies they have numerous career opportunities across subsurface departments. Due to the rigorous selection process your comprehensive knowledge would include experience working for a supermajor and/or large global exploration and production company. To be shortlisted you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geology and a Master’s degree or higher in Hydrogeology or a related science. You will work across a multidisciplinary team, conduct groundwater studies and analysis to interpret and map hydrogeologic and chemical data. You will develop conceptual groundwater models, build simulation models for groundwater flow, variable density and solute transport and conduct assessments on the impact of the company’s’ activities on the groundwater resources to ensure adequate management and protection of resources. You will ideally be competent in at least one industry standard mapping and modeling software (Petrel, GOGAD and or Roxar) Due to the timelines and comprehensive interview process, interviews are being held in the USA in APRIL 2017.
