Lead Subsea Engineer
Our Client, a fully integrated Exploration and Production Company working in the North Sea are currently seeking a Lead Subsea Engineer for a Contract role in the UKCS. The role and its responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:- A robust and proven track record in the field of Subsea Engineering is required by applicants in order to apply for this position. Candidates must have worked on high profile projects directly for Oil and Gas Operating Companies in the North Sea sector. The role will be the focal point for the Client's Subsea Engineering activities. Experience of mobile drilling and intervention campaigns is a prerequisite of the Client. Candidates must be highly proficient in Subsea Projects relating to both Completions and Xmas Trees. The Client are looking for an experienced Engineer familiar with the planning of subsea wells abandonment programmes. A track record in budgets and costings would be highly advantageous. This role will be based onshore but offshore visits may be required at the request of the Client. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in the Subsea arena. All industry certification must be provided at the time of application including current relevant Oil and Gas Industry recognised IWCF, Medical, Insurances and BOSIET including CA-EBS as a minimum requirement. Candidates must have worked in the UKCS and be fluent in both written and verbal English with the right to work in the UK. An essential requirement by the Operator is that the successful candidate must be educated to Degree level in an Engineering or Technical based qualification, proof available on request and or/ equivalent experience in the field.
