Senior Contracts Engineer - Decommissioning

Our Client, working to high quality production and development opportunities while maintaining exposure to upside value from successful exploration are currently seeking a Senior Contracts Engineer - Decommissioning of the highest calibre for a Contract position in the UK sector. The role and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:- A proven track record as a Senior Contracts Engineer having worked directly for Oil and Gas Operating Companies in the UK North Sea Sector. Candidates must have a degree in Quantity Surveying, Business, Law OR relevant Technical also CIPS Professional Qualification, this is a pre-requisite from the Client. The Client would strongly prefer candidates with Decommissioning experience, although not essential it would be highly advantageous when applying for this position. Extensive Oil and Gas experience is required for this position with strong commercial and negotiation skills. Applications are invited from Senior Contracts Engineer's with extensive experience in both Drilling and Subsea Operations. Applications are invited from individuals with extensive exposure to pre-contract which will include supply market analysis, negotiation of contracts, terms and conditions, risk allocation and remuneration formats in line with relevant strategies. Familiar with the contract through it's life cycle including long term performance management. Analysis of data to support contracting strategies, demand planning and management information. Leadership qualities and in-depth knowledge to include the support and development of others and the promotion of good Supply Chain Management practices.
