Subsea Well Engineer required for Aberdeen based operator on a staff or consultancy basis.
Key duties will include (but not limited to):
Ensure all subsea well operations are performed in a safe manner so all risk to personnel and assets are as low as reasonably practicable;
Development & implementation of effective solutions to resolve problems and issues on subsea well operations projects;
Perform occasional offshore supervision so as to maintain the safety and quality of the offshore operations;
Raise detailed well operations cost estimates (AFE) based on planned workshops;
Liaise with client to establish wellwork objectives;
Prepare work programmes to meet the defined objectives and in line with planned activities, including regulatory notifications and consents;
Lead subsea planning meetings as required a co-ordinate the resource necessary for the planned operations;
Provide first line technical support to relevant subsea well operations and inventory;
You will have proven supervisory, planning, communication and liaison skills involving multi-discipline teams in operating and service companies within the oil industry and have a proven track record within a similar position.
You will also be educated to degree level or equivalent.
