Onshore Safety Advisor required for Aberdeen based Operator to start ASAP until the end of 2012.
You will be responsible for safety performance and management of Offshore Operational Safety Personnel and the implementation of the safety policy of the Drilling Division.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Develop and motivate team (onshore, offshore and contractors) to fully support the departments objectives;
Management of Offshore Safety Advisors;
Demonstrate commitment to safety in the course of regular visits to the site;
Work with Drilling contractors for the improvement of their safety management and performance;
Incident analysis, manage investigation teams, RCA, enforce the resulting actions are implemented. Survey the quality of the incident reporting in Drilling;
Survey risk analysis, Permit to Work, safety trainings within Drilling activity for quality improvement;
You will have extensive experience within a similar role within Oil industry drilling operations and have a high level of Safety/Environmental awareness.
