Our client major operator is looking for Operations Geologist for contract on residential basis based in the Middle East
Duration : 1.5 years
Start Date : March 2012
Main Duties
Prepare tender specifications for the wireline logging, coring and
mud logging tenders.
a.. Perform the technical and commercial tender evaluation.
b.. Provide data acquisition input to the drilling programme.
c.. Advise the drilling engineers on geology related matters.
d.. Preliminary interpret well data for real time evaluation.
e.. Support decision on casing and coring points.
f.. Support drilling team with information on formation changes and assist in bit trip decisions.
a.. Interface with relevant contractors and ensure the services are according to Operator's requirements.
b.. Perform quality control on well data acquisition.
c.. Build and manage well data base.
d.. Check contractors performances.
