Prodrill doubles donation to charity in memory of friend and colleague Graham Burgess

Prodrill Energy Resource Solutions has recently doubled a donation to the Hearts and Balls charity in memory of dear friend and colleague Graham Burgess who died suddenly last month.

A celebration of his life was held in Banchory on 12th September, 2011, and in lieu of flowers, his family requested that any donations be made to the chosen charity Hearts and Balls. This charity supports rugby players who have suffered serious and life-changing injury and their families both financially and non-financially for a short time, or for the long-term.

Louise Wood, Managing Director of Prodrill comments, “Rugby was one of Graham’s passions and he was really enthusiastic supporter of Hearts and Balls and the work they carry out. £557 was donated by Graham’s friends and family, and we thought it was only appropriate to double it, raising a total of £1114. We know he would have been really pleased to have helped the charity continue its work throughout Scotland.”

Hearts and Balls has donated in the region of £200,000 to rugby players and their families since 1999. Some recent monitory contributions have helped the charity to fund:
