Competency Project Lead
Leading international oil and gas operator are looking to source a Competency Project Lead to join their team here in Aberdeen on a contract basis. Description Play a lead role in the development and implementation of the company competency and training management system. Development of Competency role profiles for company positions in line with regulatory and industry standards. Including primary and secondary positions held by individuals. Updating documentation and rolling out the process to all staff within company. Ensuring the process set-up is sustainable for training and competence management. Carry out competency assessments on personnel, certifying competence and ensuring records are maintained to an auditable standard that meets the requirements of current legislation. Carry out external competency audits (that meets the requirements of current legislation and company standards) with third party service providers. As an experienced Competency professional, you will have the following skills and experience: Proven track record in a similar role / responsibility. Broad understanding of oil and gas roles on and offshore. Qualifications to verify and assess individuals competency in the workplace. BOSIET/FOET and MIST (travel Offshore). Able to communicate complex information clearly, concisely and accurately. Able to build effective working relationships. Focused, motivated and dedicated. Proven ability to understand technology and IT systems.
