Drilling Supervisor

We are currently sourcing Drilling Supervisors for an East of Shetland drilling campaign. Experience of working on moored semi subs and recent North Sea work is essential. Key capabilities required: Show technical competence in all aspects of drilling, testing and completion operations Demonstrate a good knowledge of BOP systems, choke manifold systems etc. Practical common-sense approach to safety issues, as well as a good knowledge of current regulations, risk assessments, HSE Good people management skills, must be able to lead and encourage the offshore drilling team, willing to listen and assess job in hand Ability to be calm and delegate responsibility quickly in an emergency. i.e. Well Control situation. Ability to assess type of kick to be expected and which killing operation to use Ability to coordinate all current activities in drilling, testing and production programmes Experience of moving and positioning rigs both over a platform and on a stand alone location, managing logistics with the onshore team Must demonstrate ability to produce information on daily operations using the companies reporting system for Daily Drilling Reports Ability to read and interpret technnical data Certification: Possession of current IWCF certificate, valid survival, medical certificates and MIST.
