Prodrill presents trophy at 2019 Offshore Achievement Awards

Prodrill, a leading name in technical oil and gas recruitment spanning four decades, was delighted to sponsor the Great Company (Large) award at the prestigious Offshore Achievement Awards (OAA), held on Thursday 14 March, at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.

The awards organised by The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Aberdeen Section, is the biggest and longest established industry awards for the UK offshore energy sector, covering all aspects from supply to upstream operations and offshore renewables.  Over 500 industry peers joined in the celebrations to recognise innovation and collaboration in the oil & gas and renewables industry in the North Sea. 

Prodrill managing director, Louise Wood, was honoured to present the award on the evening.   The finalists in this category included TWMA, Hoover Ferguson and CNOOC International and with scores extremely close in this category, Ray Riddoch, managing director accepted a highly commended certificate on behalf of CNOOC.  TWMA, a specialist drilling waste management company was awarded the accolade which recognises excellence in large company performance in the offshore energy sector.

Louise Wood, said: “The evening was extremely well organised by local company Mearns and Gill and a huge congratulations to all the finalists and winners across the 11 categories.  The OAA awards has been recognising talent in the oil and gas industry for 33 years, and it is inspiring to see individual achievements, technological innovation and company performance across the UK offshore energy sector.”
