Our Client has an urgent requirement for experienced Assistant Drillers to work on short-term contract positions in East Africa. The role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:-

Immediate start.
A robust and proven track record of working in harsh environments for international rig contractors is an essential requirement when considering this role.
Candidates must have worked on land-based activities and experience of working in remote areas of Africa would be highly advantageous.
The successful incumbents must have vast experience gained across international locations and experience of working on Rig-Mounted Drilling Trucks would be preferred.
The role will involve operating and maintaining the equipment during the drilling operations whilst supporting the wider drilling team.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for controlling operations on the drill floor, whilst ensuring compliance in line with company policies, industry regulations and safety standards.
Candidates must have experience of working within multi-national teams having a continued focus on health, safety & environmental policies in line with local legislation and company procedures.
Candidates must be fluent in verbal and written English to apply for this role.
This is an onshore position therefore, all industry competency certification including Medical, relevant IWCF Level 4 and insurances must be valid for the duration of assignment.
