Our prestigious client, an integrated energy company focusing on optimising production to provide energy security, are currently seeking an experienced Cost Engineer to work with them for a contract position outside IR35 in the UK.

Applicants must have a robust and proven track record working directly for Oil & Gas Operating Companies within the energy sector.
Reporting directly to the Wells Costs Team Lead, working on budget and cost management for all wells activities.
Provide cost management to the wells team, ensuring that each asset team can manage and report costs.
Conduct cost review meetings, liaising with engineers on cost forecasts and value of work done.
Preparation of wells budgets, interfacing with finance.

The successful incumbent will have previous experience working as a Cost Engineer in the UK oil & gas industry.

Candidates will have good working knowledge of financial systems, drilling cost control systems, Maximo and Microsoft Office.
