Our Client, a renowned international Company crossing boundaries in the energy sector and positioning themselves as a global eco-friendly specialist are currently seeking an experienced Senior Operations Engineer - Drilling, for a residential contract position in Asia. The role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: -

Candidates must have a robust and proven track record as a Senior Operations Engineer - Drilling, having worked for international Oil and Gas Operating Companies.
Experience of working as an Operational Drilling Engineer with knowledge of deepwater development wells, is a prerequisite of our Client's.
The role and responsibilities for this role will include contribution to HSE goals.
Operational support including review of reports.
Logistic planning with relevant offshore personnel.
Develop operational procedures and solutions identified with associated equipment and third-party services as required to execute the detailed drilling programmes.
The key areas of focus for this position will include providing operational support to rig operations.
Competency is required in all aspects of well engineering operations to be in a position to consider this role.
Candidates with experience of geosteering, ERD (extended reach drilling) and drilling in deepwater conditions will be given consideration for this role.

Applications are invited from Degree Qualified candidates with a relevant Engineering Degree, proof will be required.
Candidates must have a valid IWCF Level 4 Drilling & Combined Subsea certificate.
This is an international long term residential role therefore, VISA restrictions may apply.
Start date January 2025.
Candidates must be fluent in both written and verbal English.
Multi-lingual candidates who are experienced in working with international teams would be highly advantageous for this role.
