Our renowned Client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer for a Temporary Agency Worker contract role in the UKCS. The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:-

- Provide technical advice and approval on the removal contractor's removal methodologies
- Review and provide structural assurance on onshore dismantling methodologies
- Carry out all work in accordance with quality assurance system, with due regard to Health, Safety, Security and Environmental procedures
- Undertake role of originator, and/or checker, of technical documentation and project deliverables, including calculations, reports, specifications, drawings and workpacks, ensuring compliance with structural specifications as well as applicable code requirements and national / international standards.
- Provide technical advice to the Project Manager and/or Project Lead
- Regular engagement and alignment with the Structural Technical Authority and Structural Engineering team

This is a predominately onshore role, however as offshore trips will be required all industry competency certification (Medical, BOSIET with CA-EBS and MIST) must be valid.
All candidates must be Degree qualified or equivalent qualification in relevant engineering discipline or have significant experience in a relevant role.
Applicants must have extensive knowledge of key legislation and regulatory framework applicable to UKCS offshore regime with understanding of major accident hazards, performance standards, assurance and verification activities.
The successful incumbent must have experience within the structural engineering discipline and sound knowledge of structural engineering principles and also be experience in brownfield engineering design, installation and removal.
