Our Client, an independent Oil and Gas exploration and production company, are currently seeking highly experienced Senior Subsea Engineer (Xmas Trees) for a Temporary Agency Worker contract role in West Africa. The role and its responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:-

Applicants must have a robust and proven track record working directly for Oil & Gas Operating Companies within the energy sector.
Act as the focal point for subsea xmas tree installation from light construction vessel.
Assists Subsea Lead with the delivery of new build xmas trees as necessary.
Provide subsea engineering input to well engineering, completion and drilling activities.
Ensures subsea equipment is properly prepared to support the rig programme.
Cover for the Subsea Supervisor on rig or vessel activities when required.

Applications are invited from degree-qualified candidates in a relevant engineering discipline.
Candidates will have extensive experience working as a rig based subsea supervisor with operating companies.
The successful incumbent will be knowledgeable and experienced in the design and installation of horizontal subsea xmas trees, and subsea test tree systems
Candidates must have exposure working in remote locations and working in West Africa.
Must have a proven track record in subsea xmas tree build and testing.
Applicants will have recent subsea completions experience in water depths greater than 800 metres.

This is an onshore role however offshore travel may be required to meet the needs of the business, therefore all industry competency certification (Medical, BOSIET with CA-EBS, MIST and IWCF Level 4) must be valid.
