Our Client, a procurement company who adds value, innovation and efficiency in the supply chain are currently seeking an experienced Buyer to work with them on a permanent / staff basis in the UK. The role responsibilities include but are not limited to:-
Managing all aspects of client contracts ensuring that high standards are maintained throughout the supply chain lifecycle.
Issue and complete pre-qualification questionnaires to seek out new suppliers for the supply chain.
Attend regular client meetings.
Work with suppliers to negotiate costs and payments whist ensuring that all quality and technical standards are adhered to.
Provide assistance to finance to resolve invoice queries from both client's and suppliers.
Attend marketing meetings to develop and maintain customer relations with new and existing clients.
The successful incumbent will have a robust and proven track record working in procurement.
Candidates will have good working knowledge of maintenance, repairs and operations products.
Applicants must be proficient in using IT systems, including Excel and management databases.
