Commercial Admin Assistant
This busy and exciting role would suit a highly experienced Commercial Assistant with strong administration and legal background.
You will be a member of our clients commercial department, reporting directly to the department Manager.
This roles primary duties is to support the performance of legal and commercial activities within the Commercial function and assist our attorneys in the performance of their duties.
You will support on all areas of commercial and legal support including but not limited to:
Draft, review and amend commercial agreements transaction documents etc.
Keep up to date with legal matters that affect the industry.
Co-ordinate the review and approval of applications for OGA consents, data checks, update to licenses, master deeds etc.
Support asset acquisition and divestment activities as appropriate e.g. co-ordination of dataroom data.
Ensure the performance of all compliance obligations within our commercial agreements for all assets in the north sea.
Liaise with appropriate external legal firms to organise certified or conformed copy agreements when required.
Keep the Commercial Departments Agreements Inventory database, Commercial Procedures Manual, Commercial Agreements database and Agreement tracker up to date.
Ensure all files are maintained and up-to-date and material is easily retrievable.
Invoice approvals and vendor set ups.
You will provide General Administrative Support including:
Manage all aspects of Commercial Managers daily calendar and support the department in the scheduling of internal and external meetings including catering requirements, appointments, conference calls, special events and travel itineraries.
Coordinate all travel arrangements globally (airline, hotel, car bookings, visas, meeting logistics, etc.). Maintain a professional administrative environment. This includes proper handling of confidential information, timely completion of tasks, and relationship building with other Executive Administrators in Apache.

The commercial team is a small busy team who support a wide range of areas within the business. This, allied with the low-leverage nature of the team, will mean that this role will be best suited to a confident operator with a solid skill set who is keen to take their career to the next level.
The position requires strong communication, interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills.
The successful candidate will preferably have a relevant legal degree LLB/BA(Hons) but consideration will be given to candidates who have appropriate experience.
You will ideally have previous comprehensive experience working in a similar role for an Oil and Gas company.
