A key Oil and Gas Operator, with operations on a global scale are now looking to recruit an experienced Drilling Superintendent to oversee work on one of their UK North Sea Assets. You shall have recent and very relevent North Sea Experience and ideally be in a position to join the organisation as a Ltd Company Contractor around June 2019. This is a contract based role, expected to run until end of December 2020. Typical duties and responsibilities include :- Work Scope Objective Lead, Coordinate and Manage the safe, effective and efficient drilling, completions and wells subsea activity for the wells, meeting the standards of the Management System, HSE Management System, and local industry and Government regulations. 1 Lead the onshore and offshore drilling, completions and wells subsea teams to ensure all activities are planned and executed with HSE at the forefront, while maintaining an incident free workplace including effective HSE incident investigations. 2 Responsible for all well planning activity including well designs, drilling, completions and subsea programmes, operational procedures, AFEs, government submissions etc. Ensuring compliance with the Well Management System. 3 Liaise with internal and external customers and stakeholders including production, subsurface, partners, regulatory bodies and subsea teams to ensure that all well objectives are understood and met. 4 Drive efficient, timely and accurate wells cost reporting, logistics management and interfaces with key finance processes and procedures while meeting budget constraints. 5 Ensure that all major service contracts for the well are put in place, fit for purpose, and maintained / evaluated on a continuous basis. Coordinate all subcontractors to ensure a seamless operation, with excellent communication between all parties. 6 Provide an onshore single point of contact for all rig related matters during contracting, planning and operations. 7 Maintain a visible well site presence with regular offshore visits to the well site. Ensuring operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner while providing support to the offshore team. 8 Ensure effective and thorough end of well reporting including technical and commercial aspects and capturing all lessons learned for future wells in the area. Other Indirect Reports – Well Engineering Manager (Technical Assurance/Compliance) Qualifications/Certificates • Engineering Degree / equivalent / significant experience in a similar position preferably with an operating company. • Experience in sand screens and gravel packing completions preferable. • Previous North Sea experience with all types of rigs and a variety of operations in particular CNS and jack up experience. • Valid IWCF Well Control Level 4 (Supervisor) certification. • Valid Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET). • Valid medial certification.
