German Speaking Senior Buyer
Our Client, a name synonymous with quality Procurement Services, whilst offering new technological solutions for service delivery for the modern-day energy industry, are currently seeking a permanent German speaking Senior Buyer, for a position in the UK. The role and its responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following:-
This role is looking to attract candidates fluent in verbal German, written would also be highly advantageous to the Client.
Experience of working in a Procurement/ Supply Chain function preferably within the Oil & Gas arena is desired.
The successful candidate shall be responsible for ensuring a positive and proactive approach to managing all aspect of Client contracts.
Ensuring high standards are maintained throughout the Supply Chain cycle.
Work with the wider team to improve and promote outstanding levels of operational performance.
Applications are invited from candidates experienced in negotiating costs and payments terms with all suppliers, ensuring quality, delivery and technical standards are continually being met.
The successful incumbent will work to extremely tight deadlines, to ensure that all relevant compliance (e.g. Customs) paperwork is achieved in a timely manner.
The role shall involve tender pricing, whilst maintaining market awareness and competitiveness at all times.
This role will work closely with Credit Control in order to resolve supplier queries as a matter of urgency.
Contributing towards the Company's global procurement vision of best practices by working with Senior Management in order to continually improve and promote high levels of operational performance, across the domestic and worldwide business streams.
The role will expect the successful applicant to have a full and in-depth knowledge and understanding of Client's business and the objectives of the outlined contract/agreements.
Continued relationship building with both new and existing Clients will form a major part of this role, whilst attending relevant customer service and marketing meetings.
Client faced meetings shall also form an important part of this position and the successful applicant shall be expected to attend and participate constructively at all times.
Ensure all Company Policies and Procedures are followed at all times.

This role will require flexibility to travel to Clients within Europe.
