Head of Talent & Learning

Our renowned Client whose purpose is to play a significant role in meeting the world's energy needs through the safe, efficient and sustainable production of hydrocarbons are currently seeking a Head of Talent & Learning on a permanent staff basis in the UK. The role and it's the responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following: -

•Candidates with proven and robust knowledge and experience of the Oil & Gas, Energy sector working directly at Operator level would be preferred but it is not essential, due consideration will be given to candidates with relevant experience in a Global Head of Talent & Learning remit across wider industries
•The Client are inviting applications from candidates experienced in strong and professional leadership, providing strategic direction on talent, learning, career and leadership development
•The successful incumbent shall ensure the responsibility for the development and building of the overall talent function and strategy aligned to the business strategy and show the impact on the return on investment
•The role shall oversee the development, delivery and regular review of the talent business plan, budget planning and workforce plans
•Ensure the development and delivery of coaching and mentoring capability whilst championing the benefits of coaching, mentoring and sponsorship
•Candidates having a track record of defining and implementing global Learning & Development and Talent strategies are invited to apply
•The Client are looking for a candidate of managing people and working directly with senior stakeholders
•The role will involve ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements and relevant legislation
•Leading the development and delivery of strategic leadership development programmes for all leaders aligned to the long-term objectives of the Client's business
•It shall be the responsibility of the successful candidate to develop a broad understanding of the Client's core values and business principles whilst recognising opportunities and threats, industry trends, emerging technology
•This role will require the successful candidate to manage change in a global organisation with experience of building a talent infrastructure upwards
•The ideal candidate shall possess the ability to tackle a problem carefully and systematically in a timely fashion, utilising a logical approach to deliver a safe and economical outcome
