Materials & Logistics Manager
Our Client is an independent UK oil company with gas and oil interests in the UK, Asia, Africa and Mexico and are currently seeking an experienced Materials & Logistics Manager for a Contract PAYE position in the UKCS. The role and its responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following:-
A robust and proven track record within the Supply Chain function as a Materials & Logistics Manager is a prerequisite to be in a position to apply for this vacancy.
The role will involve designing and implementing a logistics strategy for the Client in relation to the movement of both personnel and materials.
The successful incumbent shall be required to liaise with all stakeholders, improving the logistics and materials delivery in all aspects of HSE, cost and efficiencies.
The Client are inviting applications from individuals experienced in managing analogous materials and logistics for an operational organisation and would prefer candidates having worked directly for an Oil & Gas Operator or major Service Company.
Accountability for the maintenance management systems will form part of this role.
The successful candidate shall be a recognised Subject Matter Expert in all aspects of Logistics and Materials management.
Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and preferably MAXIMO.
This is a Contract PAYE position for approximately 12 months.
The Client are preferably looking for candidates whom are Degree Qualified in a relevant subject but consideration will be given to relevant experience.
Members of the Institute of Logistics and Transport and/or a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Chain (CIPS).
