Mechanical Maintenance Support Engineer
Our prestigious Oil and Gas Operating Client a premier exploration and production company, contributing to global progress by helping meet the worlds energy needs are currently seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Maintenance Support Engineer for Lifeboats on a Temporary Agency Worker contract basis in the UKCS. The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:-
The successful incumbent shall have a proven track record as a Mechanical Maintenance Support Engineer having worked directly for Oil and Gas Operating Companies.
Experience of the UKCS is an essential requirement to be in a position to consider and apply for this contract opportunity.
The role shall involve acting as the technical focal point for all CNS and NNS lifeboat related issues within the remit of the engineering discipline.
Liaise with the lifeboat contract focal point/s.
The successful incumbent shall provide input to the asset Maintenance Planning process as required.
The responsibilities for this role will include interfacing with the Engineering, Maintenance and Project Groups on Lifeboat engineering issues.
Recommend the use of new technologies to increase reliability and efficiency and drive cost reduction.
The successful candidates will be involved in Operational Risk Assessments as and when required as well as providing technical support and feedback for HSE audit findings or queries.
This is an onshore position reporting to the Maintenance Team Coordinator and offshore visits to the Client's assets will be required to meet the needs of the business.
The successful candidate will be required to have all valid industry competency certification to include BOSIET with CA-EBS, MEDICAL as minimum.
