Mechanical Support Engineer

Our prestigious Oil and Gas Operating Client, a premier exploration and production company contributing to global progress by helping meet the worlds energy needs, are currently seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Support Engineer on a Temporary Agency Worker contract basis in the UKCS. The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:-

The successful incumbent shall have a proven track record as a Mechanical Support Engineer having worked directly for Oil and Gas Operating Companies.
Experience of the UKCS is an essential requirement to be in a position to consider and apply for this contract opportunity.
The role shall involve acting as the technical focal point for all of the Client's asset pump related matters within the remit of the engineering discipline.
The successful candidate shall oversee the planned overhauls, breakdowns and corrective pump maintenance.
Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of API 610/ ISO 1309 standards.
The responsibilities for this role will include monitoring asset pump performance and reliability.
Applications are invited from candidates with proficient knowledge and practical experience of all types of centrifugal pumps.
Responsibilities of this role shall include supporting the development, implementation and compliance with new and existing maintenance strategies.
This is an onshore position and offshore visits to the Client's assets will be required to meet the needs of the business.
The successful candidate will be required to have all valid industry competency certification to include BOSIET with CA-EBS, MEDICAL as minimum.

This is a long term project and contract.
