Mechanical Technician

Our prestigious Oil and Gas Operating Client a premier exploration and production company, contributing to global progress by helping meet the worlds energy needs are currently seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Technician on a Temporary Agency Worker contract role in the UKCS. The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:-

The successful incumbent shall have a proven track record as an Mechanical Technician having worked directly for Oil and Gas Operating Companies.
Experience of the UKCS is an essential requirement to be in a position to consider and apply for this contract opportunity.
The role will include carrying out planned maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, inspections, repairs and overhauls on site equipment in accordance with legislation and Company regulations,
Experience of the maintaining tools, test equipment and workshop equipment to a high standard will be required.
Participation in Emergency Response Teams duties as and when required.
Applications are invited from candidates experienced in utilising the maintenance management system to properly document and accurately report all maintenance, repairs, overhauls, adjustments and inspections.

This is an offshore rotational position and rotations will be 2/3 but may differ due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, flexibility will be required.
The successful incumbents will be required to have all valid industry competency certification to include BOSIET with CA-EBS, MEDICAL.
Candidates having completed a recognised mechanical apprenticeship are required to consider applying for this role, evidence will be required on request.
