Offshore Wellsite Drilling Engineer
Our Client, a leading Exploration & Production Company are seeking an experienced Wellsite Drilling Engineer for a short-term Temporary Agency Worker contract in the UKCS. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for providing well site rig engineering support, lead performance improvement initiatives and assist the DSV in all aspects of operations planning and execution
Carry out independent engineering cross checks on all calculations e.g. fluids displacements, cementing operations, casing tallies, hydraulics, pressure testing, applied forces and Well Control
Provide technical support to offshore management during offshore emergencies and training activities in relation to drilling/well control incidents
Candidates will have experience of in a drilling operations role on MODU's
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of HSE policies and procedures as well as industry standards and requirements in relation to drilling/well operations

All valid industry competency certification (BOSIET with CA-EBS, MEDICAL and MIST) as well being fully certified by a recognised Well Control Authority ( IWCF Level 4 and WELLCAP) are required for this position.
