Pipelines Engineer

Our Client, a leading Global Energy Company, have a fantastic opportunity for a Pipelines Engineer with extensive inspection experience to work with them on a Temporary Agency Worker contract in the UK. The role and its responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following:-

Applicants must have a robust and proven track record working directly for Oil & Gas Operating Companies within the energy sector.
Liaise closely with the maintenance, production and HSE teams to provide integrity management and technical support for all company topside, floating and fixed structures.
Provide operational support for the Client's decommissioning and future Carbon Capture and Storage activities.
Oversee all pipeline integrity activities including working to develop and manage an extensive inspection and cleaning campaign.
Ensure that all pipeline integrity plans are compliant with company standards and industry regulation.

Applications are invited from degree-qualified candidates in a relevant mechanical, structural, materials or other relevant discipline.
The successful incumbent will have previous experience working in an asset integrity management role.
Candidates must have robust knowledge and experience of mechanical design standards, relevant codes and recommended practices
Chartered Engineers or those who are currently working towards chartership are invited to apply for this role.

This is an onshore position however, offshore visits may be required to meet the needs of the business, therefore all industry competency certification BOSIET with CA-EBS, MEDICAL and MIST must be valid.
