Senior Completions Engineer
A key client based in Aberdeen is now looking to recruit a Senior Completions Engineer to be based in their office on an initial 12 month Limited Company Contract. Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Produce conceptual completion designs, developing the design criteria set out by subsurface prospect data sheets. Appraise conceptual designs from a technical and a cost perspective to select and define final specification Liaise with key departments including contracts, subsurface, drilling, production, well services, subsea to ensure alignment of expectations with regard to well delivery Work with subcontractors to develop detailed design to enable production of a safe and efficient work programme Produce probabilistic cost estimates for inclusion and production of the well AFE Provide Completion engineering expertise to the Senior Drilling Engineer to ensure compatibility in the well design Write the completion Basis of Design and Peer review for each well Chair completion programme Risk Assessments and HAZOP’s Identify key equipment and personnel interfaces and manage subcontractors to ensure compatibility of completion and associated components Develop and issue the final signed work programme Be responsible for onshore management of completion operation, supporting the offshore team during programme execution Control Management of Change process to ensure clear and concise assessment and communication of programme changes Record performance and cost progress (planned v actual) and prepare progress reports for management Compile the End of Well Report and hold end of well meetings, ensuring lessons learned are recorded and incorporated in future programmes Carry out cost reconciliation's Visit rig site during operations for audits / pre-spuds / general visit. You shall be a Degree Qualified professional with previous front line Operator experience.
