Senior Plug & Abandonment Engineer
Our Client, an Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Company operating in the North Sea are currently seeking an experienced Senior Plug & Abandonment Engineer for a Temporary Agency Worker contract in the UKCS. The role and its responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:-
Candidates must have a robust and proven track record working in the Oil & Gas Energy sector directly at Operator level.
The successful incumbent will have previous experience of working in the UKCS.
Management support for various subsea projects to ensure that the current status of the well is fully understood and provide advice for abandonment options.
Prepare well cost estimates for all abandonment options.
Manage all well plug and abandonment activates in line with the Client's standards and the Oil & Gas UK Guidelines.
Carry out risk assessments for well activity.
Pursue various well abandonment techniques to reduce costs and optimise well operations whilst ensuring technical and safety standards are not compromised.
Applicants will have previous experience of managing financial budgets.
Applications are invited from degree-qualified candidates with a relevant engineering degree or equivalent and proof must be provided on request.
This is a predominantly onshore position however, offshore visits will be required as and when to meet the needs of the business.
All industry competency certification BOSIET with CA-EBS, MEDICAL, MIST and IWCF Level 4 must be valid.
