Verification Engineer

Our prestigious Oil & Gas Operating Client, whose purpose is to play a significant role in meeting the world's energy needs through the safe, efficient and sustainable production of hydrocarbons are currently seeking an experienced Verification Engineer for a permanent/staff position in the UKCS. The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:-

Candidates must have a robust and proven track record working in the Oil & Gas Energy sector directly at Operator level.
The successful incumbent will have extensive experience working in a similar role within the offshore Oil & Gas industry in the UKCS.
Support the management and delivery of Written Schemes of Verification and Examination to ensure that all HSE standards and regulations are adhered to.
Liaise closely with the offshore team and OIM's and conduct regular offshore visits to provide guidance on current regulations and industry best practice.
Act as the interface between the company and Independent Competent Person.
Ensure that all Safety Critical Elements are properly managed, in compliance with company standards and regulation.
Travel offshore to conduct training as and when required by the OIM.
Liaise closely with the Project and Asset teams to improve and optimise the verification process.

Candidates must be degree qualified in a relevant discipline.

The successful incumbent will have previous experience of working with an Independent Competent Person.
Regular offshore visits will be required to meet the needs of the business, therefore all industry competency certification BOSIET with CA-EBS, MEDICAL, MIST and IWCF Level 4 must be valid.
