Wellsite Drilling Engineer - Wellsite Abandonment

Our Client, proud to be a Company that provides energy and water to communities around the world, are currently seeking Wellsite Drilling Engineers for Contract PAYE or Staff positions for a long term project in the UKCS. The role and its responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following:

A robust and proven track record working as a Wellsite Drilling Engineer within the UKCS, having worked directly for Oil & Gas Operators and/ or Rig Contractors is required to be in a position to apply for these roles.
Due consideration will be given to technical/engineering Degree Qualified applicants, as this is a preferred requirement from the Client.
The Client are looking for applications from candidates with a full understanding of Drilling Programmes and can support the Drilling Supervisors at wellsite locations.
The successful candidates will contribute to the design of wells and create well programmes in compliance with the Clients requirements.
The role will include recording of all lessons learned, preparation of End-Of-Well report at the request of the Drilling Superintendent.
Reporting directly to the Drilling Supervisors and/or Superintendent assigned to this project, as required.
Experience of Well Abandonment campaigns would be highly advantageous as this is a long term Well Abandonment project for the Client.
All industry competency certification including IWCF Drilling & Subsea, BOSIET, Medical, CA-EBS and MIST must be valid for the full duration of the campaign.
This is a offshore position on a rotational capacity to be confirmed.
Approximate 2-3 year campaign commencing in December 2020 to meet the Client's requirements.
