Our renowned Client, an Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Company operating in the North Sea have a new job requirement for an experienced Well Intervention Engineer to work with them on a Temporary Agency Worker contract role in the UKCS. The role and its responsibilities shall include but are not limited to the following:-This role will be a short-term contract basis with an immediate start
The Well Intervention Engineer will be responsible for planning, and will possibly execute, the plugging of 4 platform wells.
Candidates will have extensive knowledge and experience with well intervention operations within the UKCS covering platform based scopes.
Awareness of UK regulatory organisations such as OGA, HSE, & BEIS with regards to wells.
Working knowledge of UK legislation relevant to the well lifecycle (DCR, SCR2015).
Understanding of risk assessment and risk management principles and practices as applied to wells.
Extensive experience of Platform Based Abandonment planning and operation desirable.
The successful incumbent will have a valid IWCF Level 4 certificate.
Candidates with valid offshore certification (BOSIET with CA-EBS, Medical and MIST) would be advantageous.
