Our Oil & Gas Operator Client, a leading E&P company, have a fantastic career opportunity for an Environment, Health & Safety Compliance Officer to work with them on a permanent basis in the UK. The role and responsibilities include but are not limited to:-

• Provide competent Health & Safety advice to ensure legal compliance and drive best practice across the North Sea operations
• Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, guidance, and best practice in conjunction with the relevant Managers, Technical Authorities and Process Owners
• Support the development and oversight of regulatory submissions and reporting i.e., providing guidance on reporting of incidents to relevant regulatory bodies
• Travel to offshore locations to conduct investigations, training, audits and accompany regulatory inspections as required
• Conduct on-site inspections, ensuring safety standards are met and being managed consistently

The successful incumbent must possess a relevant university degree or relevant HSE qualification(s) (e.g., NEBOSH) etc. and have relevant supporting technical/ industry qualification(s). Offshore medical and survival/ MIST training certificates will be required in order to carry out offshore visits as necessary.

The candidate should be an efficient self-starter with an ability to work alone and as part of a team also be able to prioritise tasks and deliver against tight deadlines. Applicants should have excellent EH&S ethos with previous experience working in the Oil & Gas industry.
