Our Client are looking for an experienced Senior Drilling Engineer on a contract basis (O/S IR35) for a project in the UKCS. The role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: -

The successful incumbent must be experienced as a Senior Drilling Engineer having a robust and proven history of working on UKCS projects.
Candidates must have worked extensively and directly for Oil and Gas Operating Companies in the UK.
The role will include the preparation of drilling programmes as required.
The Senior Drilling Engineer will be responsible for the legislative and regulatory permitting aspects of the well planning process.
Experience of leading the well engineering team through the project work phases is required to be able to apply for this role.
The role will also involve complying with all Company policies and procedures, statutory regulations, and industry guidance notes.
Plug and abandonment knowledge and experience would also be advantageous.
Candidates with a technical engineering degree would be preferred but due consideration may be given to candidates qualified by experience.
Candidates must be immediately available as well as match fit, to include relevant INSURANCES and IWCF LEVEL 4 Drilling & Subsea.
This is an onshore position but there may be a requirement to go offshore in order to meet the needs of the business.
The role has been determined as O/S IR35.
